Are we eligible for the funding program if we’re already in business?: Yes.
Do you provide advice for companies that have not been accepted into your funding program?: No. Nebula-Shift operations are available to funded companies only.
Would you be willing to introduce our idea to other investors?: No. Reputation is key within the investment business. Therefore, it is not a practical for an investor to provide uneducated recommendations.
What funding is available?: Please refer to the Funding Process on the Application Page.
What is N-Shift's return?: Please refer to the Funding Process on the Application Page
We have not yet developed a product and 3 months is not enough time to complete development. Should we apply?: Yes. In these cases, N-Shift will assist in the development of a Proof of Concept to present to later stage investors.
Is a business plan required?: No. Please refer to the Funding Criteria Section on the Application Page.
Are single person funds available?: Yes. However, to start up a business requires more than one person. Therefore, the odds of being selected are much smaller.
I do not have a technical person on my team. Can you help me?: The probability of being accepted into N-Shift's funding program is greatly increased if a technical representative or co-founder.
Is it truly a requirement to move to Boise, ID during the funding period?: Yes. It is required. Remember, funding is only a small percentage of the program’s benefits. Creating relationships, training and more is available during this time period. However, Boise is a great location for a business.
Is our company required to do business within the United States?: Yes.
Why Boise?: Boise is a great place to live and has a great environment for technology startups that fit our vision of sustainable companies. Boise has most of the benefits of a big city but without most big city problems.
I want to startup N-Shift, make a functional prototype and sell my company to a large company as rapidly as possible, regardless of its functionality – Can you support me in this?: No. We are interested in building real value in our companies and people. If the last 15 years has taught us anything, it is that these top heavy business models are not sustainable for many reasons.
Are the founders required to be United States citizens?: No. However, accepted startups are required to be within Boise, ID during the funding period.
Will you assist us in acquiring Visas?: Unfortunately, we do not assist in this area.
Can we submit more than one application if we have more than one idea?: Yes. Submit the applications under differing accounts and founders.
Do you fund companies other than software startups?: No.
My group is concerned about providing the details of our idea to any organization without a Non Disclosure Agreement (NDA). What security is available during and after the applications process?: We do not sign an NDA. However, you can review our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy for a better understanding of our policies regarding your data.

Are you looking to franchise this concept?: N-Shift funds companies nationally, not regionally. Therefore, N-Shift is already in your area.
Is this type business unique?: This concept is not unique. There are several successful investment businesses today such with similar concepts. N-Shift differentiates ourselves by investing in long-term business ideas and by teaching triple bottom line concepts for future business needs. It is more important to us that a company has a sustainable business model, generates good jobs and produces good products, happy customers and employees than making a “quick hit” by “dumping” a company on Big Company X.
Can we assist with investments? Do you need more investors?: N-Shift does take investment capital in each of the semi-annual funding events (usually twice per year). Access to this is limited.
